PrepToPay is a payroll study and reference platform operated by a Colorado LLC. This page explains the practical security, payment, AI, and data boundaries behind the service.
Company
PrepToPay is operated by PrepToPay LLC / Prep To Pay LLC in Colorado. PrepToPay builds payroll certification study tools and current-year payroll reference support for payroll professionals.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. PrepToPay does not store full credit card numbers on its own servers.
Accounts and data
PrepToPay uses Supabase for authentication and database infrastructure. Account access and study progress are tied to the email address used to create an account.
Email opt-ins
PrepToPay uses Kit for email marketing and study follow-up emails only when users opt in through public forms or lead captures.
AI assistant
The AI assistant uses a language model and may be inaccurate. Do not enter confidential employee payroll records, sensitive employee data, or private business information into the AI assistant.
Security practices
PrepToPay uses HTTPS, access-controlled infrastructure, and hosted services for authentication, payments, email, and app hosting. No system can guarantee absolute security.
What not to enter
PrepToPay does not require real employee payroll records to study. Avoid entering Social Security numbers, bank details, employee medical information, confidential employer data, or other sensitive records into the AI assistant or public forms.

PrepToPay is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by PayrollOrg. FPC and CPP are registered trademarks of PayrollOrg.
