Choose Reference if you already work in payroll and want current-year tools and AI reference help — no exam prep needed.

FPC

Choose FPC if you are preparing for the Fundamental Payroll Certification. No prior payroll experience required.

CPP

Choose CPP if you are preparing for the Certified Payroll Professional exam. Requires 3 years of payroll experience and covers multistate, equity, and global topics.

Is there a free trial?+
Yes. FPC, CPP, and Benefits plans include a 14-day free trial. Enter a card at checkout and we won’t charge it during the trial. Cancel any time before the trial ends and you won’t be charged. The Reference plan starts paid and does not include a trial.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Cancel any time from your account settings. No cancellation fees, no long-term commitments. If you cancel a monthly plan, you keep access until the end of the billing period.
Can I switch plans?+
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade between any plan at any time from your account. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
Do you offer a refund?+
Yes. If PrepToPay is not the right fit after your first paid charge, email support@preptopay.com within 7 days and we will refund that payment. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take a few days to appear, depending on the card issuer. The guarantee covers your satisfaction with PrepToPay, not exam results.
Is this only for certification candidates?+
No. Many subscribers are not pursuing a credential. The Reference plan — rate cards, calculators, compliance calendar, and AI reference assistant — is built for working payroll professionals who want current-year tools on the job.
Can I use it on mobile?+
Yes. PrepToPay is available as a native app on iOS and Android. Download it free from the App Store or Google Play. You can also use it in any browser on your phone, tablet, or computer.
